An excerpt from a Fast Company article: How Innovation Led HTC to the Dream
"The way to get a great idea is to have many ideas. By definition, most of your ideas will fail. You want to be able to generate ideas very fast, very cheaply and fail very often but at very low cost."
How can the Libraries create a model to support this type of idea generation? Would it lead to greater success?

AT HTC every day we think about doing the right thing for our customers. We don't spend a lot of time worrying about promoting the HTC brand or trying to get people to know about HTC.
Warning: Such and idea will cause intestinal prolapse from External Relations and/or the Dean.
But on a serious note:
I like the notion that in coming up with creative solutions to problems, you often come up with the great ideas by being willing to discard the good ideas.
And that sometimes you find the great idea amidst the wreckage of what turned out to be a not-so-great idea.
