Search Tips:
- To restrict your search retrieval to scholarly/peer reviewed articles use the click box under the green refine search tab in the middle of the search page.
- To export citations to RefWorks to create a bibliography, first save them to a folder by clicking on the word add on the right side of the page next the citation you want to export. When you have saved the citations you want, click where it says folder has items near the top of the page. Once you are in the folder, first click on select all and then on export. Then select Direct Export to RefWorks and click on save. You will then be directed to the RefWorks login page. It is important to wait until prompted to login to your RefWorks account and to have your popup blocker turned off.
- It is possible to use wildcards and truncation to expand your search results. Truncation is represented by an asterisk (*). To use truncation, enter the root of a search term and replace the ending with an *. EBSCOhost finds all forms of that word. For example, type comput* to find the words computer or computing. The wildcard is represented by a question mark ?. To use the wildcard, enter your search terms and replace each unknown character with a ?. EBSCOhost finds all citations of that word with the ? replaced by a letter. For example, type ne?t to find all citations containing neat, nest or next. EBSCOhost does not find net because the wildcard replaces a single character.
