            <title>Journal of Visualized Experiments</title>
            <description><![CDATA[<p>An announcement in the Chronicle of Higher Education that PubMed would begin indexing the <em>Journal of Visualized Experiments</em> piqued my interest.  I had not heard of this open-access video journal before.  If you go to the journal site at <a href="http://www.jove.com/">http://www.jove.com/</a> you can view videos of experimental techniques.  The categories they list are: Basic Protocols, Neuroscience, Developmental Biology, Cellular Biology, Plant Biology, Microbiology, and Immunology.</p>]]></description>

            <title>West Nile Virus</title>
            <description><![CDATA[<p>A News 3 report, "<a href="http://www.kvbc.com/Global/story.asp?S=8755546&nav=menu107_2">West Nile Virus returns to Las Vegas</a>", aired on July 29. Jesse Corona reported on the discovery of the West Nile Virus in the wetlands near Sam Boyd Stadium and the use of a fish, Gambusia Affinis, to eat mosquito larvae in an effort to prevent the spread of the virus.</p>

Blackwell Synergy Backfiles</strong><br />
Over 2.7 million pages and access to 191 journal titles, this backfile collection contains the full-text journal issues going back to the first volume of each journal through 1996.  Includes a broad scope of disciplines covering medicine and health care, sciences, humanities and social sciences.  <br />

Elsevier Health Sciences Encyclopedias</strong><br />

Sage Deep Backfiles includes perpetual electronic access to the deep backfile of 301 journals, 357,000 issues, and approximately 4,284,000 articles.  The majority of Sage's peer-reviewed scholarly journals are in the subject areas of: business, education, engineering, fine arts, health sciences, hotel, liberal arts, sciences, and urban affairs. Coverage includes back to Volume 1, Issue 1, through the last issue of 1998.  Content from January 1999 to present is included in the Premier subscription. </p>
