A News 3 report, "West Nile Virus returns to Las Vegas", aired on July 29. Jesse Corona reported on the discovery of the West Nile Virus in the wetlands near Sam Boyd Stadium and the use of a fish, Gambusia Affinis, to eat mosquito larvae in an effort to prevent the spread of the virus.
