Influenza

Since the flu season is upon us, I thought it might be time to list some good resources:

PandemicFlu.gov (http://www.pandemicflu.gov) from the U.S. Dept. of Health and Human Services covers a variety of aspects of influenza, from therapies to economic impacts. It has a clickable map that will lead you to resources for your state.

Medline Plus has a collection of links on its Flu page (http://www.nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/flu.html)

To see what's happening in influenza research, check out the influenza subject page at the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (http://www.niaid.nih.gov/dmid/influenza/)

Here in Nevada, the Clark County Health District has a "Disease Statistics by Month" (http://www.cchd.org/disease_statistics.htm) report that will tell you how many cases have been diagnosed that month.
