Just behind our ongoing and frequently changing New Books Display, we have a temporary display of books which provide you with details, an often requested and searched for type of resource.

Items in the display include the venerable Architectural Graphics Standards but also new series such as GA Detail (on specific buildings), Detail Practice (details relating to materials and products), and Detail in Building (building components, such as soft canopies).

Let us know what you think about this type of focused book display!

Feedback on computer login time improvement Thanks to those who took the time to give us some feedback on our improved computer login times. It is thanks -- at least in part -- to the persistence of certain students in the SOA that this issue was addressed.

Feedback ranged from "it's about time" to "very helpful" to "it is faster but still slow."

The flipchart-on-an-easel is a new method of soliciting input in the ASL. It has been used to good effect in other libraries, so I thought we'd try it here! This was the first question to have been posed "Have you noticed how much faster our computer logins are?" We will be posting another question in about a week. Meanwhile if you didn't get a chance to comment while the question was up, you can add your remarks here on the blog.
